ABOUT HOPE EXPO
This year’s HOPE Expo is a virtual two-day Workshop and Exhibit offered FREE to prospective Home Buyers on an annual basis.
This year is the 30th year of the Expo, and we are excited that it will be held in a virtual environment.
This Home Ownership Event is made possible through the efforts of a number of Tampa Bay Area Non-Profit and Government-Funding Agencies, Lenders and Realtors volunteering their time to work together in the planning of the Expo.
Our goal is to help you achieve the Dream of Home Ownership by providing you access to experienced professionals involved in many facets of the Home Buying field.
This year’s Expo will feature a virtual Exhibit Hall where over 30 housing-related Professionals will have booths for you to visit and get information. The Exhibitors will include Lenders, Real Estate Agents, Credit Counselors, Non-Profit Down Payment Assistance Programs, and others.
I removed the “Click here for a listing of this year’s Sponsors and Exhibits” because it was a link to the Sponsors & Exhibitors page. I feel this link should be a list of the Sponsors and Exhibitors. This will have to be updated on a weekly basis to keep it current.
You will also have the opportunity to attend a 8-hour Home Buying Workshop (this will be held in two 4 hour sessions on consecutive Saturdays in September) and receive an 88-page Home Buying guide.
The Workshop will answer questions such as:
Those who complete the Home Ownership Workshop will receive a “Certificate” after the event. This Certificate can help you satisfy the education requirements for a variety of Affordable Housing Loans and Down Payment Assistance Programs. The Certificate is NOT an Approval for Assistance OR for a Mortgage. You must still complete an Application and meet the qualifying criteria.
